First, let us begin by saying “thank you” for your interest in becoming one of our valued tenants.
The process starts when you contact MACK Companies by either phone at: 815-306-0143 or via email. Once we learn what your needs are and where you’d like to live, a Mack team member will show you available homes. She’ll let you know what you can expect from Mack, and what we’ll expect in return.

Each potential tenant is carefully screened. That means we’ll need to know your job history and credit background, plus speak with your current employer and landlord.Identifying good tenants and treating them with the respect they deserve has resulted in an average tenant retention level of five years. We believe Mack has the best properties located in the best areas, so we expect the best from our tenants.
Next, it is time to review your one year lease. At signing you’ll need to pay your first month’s rent and a security deposit equal to one month’s rent. If applicable, Section 8 paperwork should be completed for filing.
Moving into a new home is exciting. However, it can also be overwhelming. That is why a Mack property manager is always on site for moving day. They will instruct you on the heating, air conditioning and other mechanical systems incorporated into your new home. Together you’ll fill out a move-in sheet that details the current status of the home to protect your interests.
Each month your Mack team member will visit your property to collect rent and to conduct a site survey, to answer your questions and to address any concerns, however minor. We are here to serve you.
Of course, accidents happen. You are responsible for repairing any damage to your property within 30 days or you’ll be billed for a Mack contractor to do the work. You should also know that Mack keeps a maintenance service team on call 24/7 for emergencies.
Each fall and spring we will send out a landscaping team to your home. They’ll trim trees and bushes, clean your gutters, and take care of general outside maintenance, all at no expense to you.
As a fair housing advocate, Mack industries does not discriminate against potential tenants on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability.
